Amanda Nyberg
My name is Amanda Nyberg and I am originally from North Spokane. I am a proud mother of four and deeply involved in our local running community. With a lifelong passion for the sport, I currently serve as secretary for the club, coach during the indoor season, and lead the kids’ track camps. Coaching and mentoring young athletes brings me immense joy, and I’m committed to helping them grow in both skill and confidence.
I began running competitively at Riverside High School, where I qualified for the State Championships in Track and Cross Country each year. As a junior and senior, I earned podium finishes in all of my events. I continued my running career at Brigham Young University–Hawaii, competing for two years on the traveling Cross Country team. During my time there, I contributed to our team’s qualification for Nationals, gaining valuable experience at a high level of competition.
Now, I’m excited to share my knowledge and love of running with the next generation. I believe in the power of perseverance, goal setting, and teamwork, and I strive to help each athlete discover their own potential. It’s a privilege to guide them as they pursue and achieve something great.
